New leader to drive commercial auto underwriting and growth in the modern mobility market
GLENDALE, Ariz., Dec. 1, 2025 – Mobilitas Insurance, a leading provider of innovative insurance solutions for the modern mobility and shared economy, has named Eric Tonn senior vice president of commercial product and underwriting, effective immediately. In his new role, Eric will lead Mobilitas’ commercial underwriting strategy, overseeing product development, and strengthening the company’s risk management offerings and solutions tailored for emerging mobility and transportation models.

With more than 15 years of experience in commercial insurance, Eric brings a broad and dynamic background that includes leadership and senior roles in multinational casualty and global internal audit. Prior to joining Mobilitas, he oversaw production and profitability for national accounts in Chubb’s Southeast region, where he led a team of underwriters.

Eric currently serves on the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business Risk Management and Insurance Program Advisory Board. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Risk Management & Insurance and Real Estate from the University of Georgia (Athens, Ga.).
